Police: Man was Drunk in Car Crash that Killed His Wife

( Fairfield ) - A Trenton man is now under indictment in Butler County after a crash in Fairfield this past August that killed his wife.

Police say 38-year-old Kenneth Cyrek was drunk with Fentanyl in his system when his car drove off the right side of Canal Road and struck a pole on the night of August 4. His passenger, Kayla Cyrek, was killed.

Investigators also say Cyrek was driving with several license suspensions at the time.

On Wednesday, a Butler County grand jury charged him with two counts of first degree felony aggravated vehicular homicide, one count of second degree aggravated vehicular homicide, and a first degree misdemeanor count of vehicular manslaughter.
