Ndume The Gorilla Returns To The Cincinnati Zoo

(Cincinnati) -- After a lengthy court battle, silver back gorilla Ndume is back at the Cincinnati Zoo.

He was sent to the Gorilla Foundation in the 1990s to mate with Koko, an animal famous for being able to use sign language. After Koko died the zoo wanted Ndume back. The California foundation said it would hurt Ndume to fly him back to Ohio, but a judge said it was time to end delays and get him back to Cincinnati.

The zoo hasn't said when Ndume will be available for viewing.
