One of their goals is to eliminate what they call the DEAD ZONE downtown between Fountain Square and Over the Rhine.
The Downtown Safety Pedestrian Task Force delivers its report to Cincinnati City Council's budget and finance committee today. Their top recommendation is to restrict traffic on Court Street near the Kroger building and turn that into a vibrant pedestrian oriented space with room for outdoor dining and other events. They also want to make Vine Street south of Central Parkway a two way street.
