(Cincinnati) -- Two Cincinnati Police officers have both been let go from the department after being paid thousands of dollars for work they didn't do.
Supervisor Sgt. LaKisha Gross was let go last month, after an investigation showed she'd been absent for duty without permission for more than five-weeks worth of work. This cost the city $8700.
Officer Darren Sellers worked as a polygraph examiner and retired in October, after it was discovered he was absent for 62-hours without permission. Sellers cost the department $2100. A supervisor was reprimanded for not filing sick pay paperwork for Sellers, which allowed him to take regular wages.
