(Cincinnati) - It's a million dollar bond for the suspect in the Avondale shooting that killed Karissa Caldwell on January 17.
Suspect Shaneisha Heath was in court today and her attorney says the victim was harming Heath's daughter at the time of the fatal shooting.
Caldwell was shot around 3:30 a.m. and died from her injuries later on at UC Health Medical Center.
Heath's attorney says she turned herself in and gave officers the murder weapon. He didn't say how his client's daughter was being harmed, but said there were witnesses.
