Suspect in Murder of Pregnant Woman Just Got Out of Prison

If he would have been given the max for a shooting four years ago, he would have still been behind bars now. A man already convicted of felonious assault for shooting someone in Cincinnati is now facing murder charges for gunning down a pregnant woman in Walnut Hills on Super Bowl Sunday. Police say that the bullet that hit 28 year old Dominique Lee was intended for someone else.

The suspect, 22 year old Christopher Goss was just released from prison in December after serving three and a half years of a four year sentence issued by Hamilton County Judge Patrick Dinkelacker for felonious assault with a firearm specification. When Goss was released on December 13, 2019 he was placed on supervised release for 3 years and was not supposed to be in possession of a firearm.

Police have not released any details about the latest shooting Goss is accused of other than to say they do not believe that Lee was his intended victim. Doctors were able to save the life of her baby.
