( Frankfort, Kentucky ) - Saying "we are walking the walk, not just talking the talk," Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear is announcing that he and his family are quarantining after a possible exposure to coronavirus.
In a video posted online Sunday afternoon, Gov Beshear says a member of his security detail recently tested positive. The governor says everyone in his family feels fine, that no one is exhibiting any symptoms, and that no one in his family has tested positive.
The family was not in contact with anyone else after the exposure and wore masks during the interaction in question. Governor Beshear is expected to continue giving his afternoon updates for the state from an empty part of the governor's mansion.
