( Cincinnati, OH ) - After a some back and forth negotiations, the 2020 Crosstown Shootout between UC and Xavier is going to happen.
Bearcats Head Basketball Coach John Brannen made the announcement in a two minute video posted to his Twitter page.
In the video above Brannen outlined a series of proposals made to get this game on the schedule this year. Ultimately the two sides agreed to play the game on Sunday December, 6th at Fifth Third Arena.
This announcement comes on the heels of the American Athletic Conference adopting a 20 game conference schedule for the 2020-2021 season. Those games will also get underway in December.
